Artist Bio:

Chicago based handmade knitwear, accessories, and home decor. Using my own two hands to craft and create is where my true passion lies; whether it be painting, sewing, or knitting, or just about any other form of expression. Through putting in the time, attention, and love into each item, I ensure the very best quality for my customers. Sustainability and remaining environmentally conscious are core values to me and my business. That’s why all packaging is made from recyclable and/or compostable material, and we strive to be zero waste, meaning alll scraps and scrap materials are reused and reinvented. A quick glimpse into the name Bear & Ivory Co is simple: Bear, for my son, who inspires me to work harder, and be a better person every day of my life. For without him, I would not be any where near where I am today. And Ivory: for my intense love of elephants, my spirit animal; intense, strong, matriarchal, and emotionally intelligent. It is worth mentioning, I owe my spark of passion for these extraordinary and beautiful creatures to a short and sweet line from one of my favorite books, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. If you have a moment or two to spare, i suggest you invest time in reading this book. So there you have it, Bear & Ivory Co. My future is here.
